Need information about a river you want to float? Looking for ideas and inspiration? On this page we share information about rivers and we have paddled in Alaska and elsewhere.

Chandalar River

The Chandalar River is located on the southern slope of the Brooks Range. It flows to the south and the east into the Yukon River.   In 2009, we spent a month exploring three of its forks, paddling over 500 miles.

John River

The John River begins in Gates of the Arctic National Park and flows south, through the Brooks Range. Though the river flows from Anaktuvuk Pass, many people began their trip at Hunt Fork Lake. This post covers Hunt Fork Lake to the confluence with the Koyukuk River.
